Dayara Bugyal is an easy-to-moderate trek in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, to a high meadow at about 3,640 m. It covers roughly 20–22 km over 4–5 days from Raithal or Barsu, and is good from March to June and September to December.
About the Dayara Bugyal trek
Dayara is a rolling alpine meadow above the Bhagirathi valley with views of Bandarpunch and the Gangotri peaks. Villagers hold the Butter Festival (Andhudi) here in August.
